Since 2015, head of the Department of Lipids and Liposomes at the Faculty of Biotechnology, University of Wrocław.
Since 1994, he has been working in the field of using liposomes as drug delivery systems.
He specialises in methods of active drug encapsulation in liposomes and the effects of these methods on the pharmacokinetics and anticancer activity of the encapsulated drugs.
Dr. Barbara Bażanów graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Wrocław in 1999. She holds a PhD in equine arteritis virus infections and a habilitation thesis on vector virus infections. She became a professor at the university in 2020.
Dr. Bażanów conducted international internships, working with viruses in South Africa. She's a member of veterinary associations and teaches microbiology and public health protection.
She authored over 40 scientific papers and received awards from the University of Life Sciences for her research.

She has worked for Television France 1/TF1 in France and for international advertising agencies such as BETC EURO RSCG. She graduated from the Polish-American Business School and the Wrocław University of Technology.

For many years, she ran a consulting company whose main objective was to organise trade missions and support exports of Polish and French companies. Long-time associate of the French chamber of commerce Bretagne Commerce International.
She has many years of experience in project management, market analysis and strategic decision-making. Her key skills include planning, organising and monitoring projects from start to finish, communicating with key clients and striving to achieve the best results for the company.
